RORY GALLAGHER - HANDS UP
This great song seems to be, along with Sinner Boy, one of the first tunes
Rory played with his first solo-lineup in 1971, originally written, as far
as I know, for Taste but never recorded by them. It features an high ener-
getic and fine rhythmed vocal part, a long, long solo nearly all over it's
second half, and at least busy 195bpm.
I transcribed the vocal part, the bridge, and about the half of Rorys solo
in the end (up to 4:00 on my CD-player). During the chorus and the bridge
sometimes the beats, I usually note above the tab, are missing. This is just
because I didn't know how to note the syncopes correctly. But as there are
not too much notes it should be clear how to place them inside the bar. Just
listen to the recording. The whole song is to play in a fast swing rythm,
which is to remark especially for the not in swing measure noted solo.
